Correct 3,500 lb Double-Eye Leaf Spring for 26-1/2 Inch Eye to Eye Measurement

Question:

3500 lb axle spring. i have a 16 foot trailer that is used for construction. It hauls aluminum ladders and walk boards. I need to replace the leaf springs. the measurement i get from center of bolt to center of bolt is 26-1/2inch . The springs are 1-1/2 inches wide and it is a 4 leaf stack. i see the 4 leaf stack with a 27 inch measurement. would that be the right application for me? SP-210275

While we have the right 3,500 lb double-eye leaf spring for you, the 27 inch spring would be too long for your 26-1/2 inch measurement. Leaf springs actually elongate over time, so you'll want one that is shorter:

- 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles - 25-1/8" Long # e54SR

Also, you mentioned your springs being 1-1/2 inches wide, but all double-eye springs are 1-3/4" wide so I do recommend just double-checking the width.

If you also need U-bolts, the correct kit is the U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 3,500-lb, Round Trailer Axles - 5-1/2" Long U-Bolts # APUBR-1.
