Have a 2014 itasca nation. Steps started to stuttering when getting in and out of position. Then when driving they released position what would be the cause?

From what you describe I suggest you examine the motor and gears as it appears they are worn. The Replacement Motor for Kwikee Revolution Series Electric RV Steps, # LC380073 is the correct part number.

Or, for a complete replacement of Kwikee Revolution Series RV steps, I recommend the Kwikee RV Electric Steps - Revolution Series, # LC3725791.

The bolt pattern that is on the bottom of the Kwikee 32 Series Steps part #LC3722616 that you referenced is 22 inch by 8 inch but there are several bolt holes on the plate which might be why you are getting a slightly different measurement.
