Follower Landing Gear Leg Recommendation for a 2005 Carriage Fifth Wheel Trailer

Question:

I have a 2005 Carriage 5th wheel that has a broken follower landing gear leg. I believe it is a Venture or Stromberg Carlson product. The existing leg is 33 1/2inch long with 16 1/4inch between the two load pads on the outside of the leg. Does the LG 177201 replacement leg have the same distance between the two pads? The two bevel gears have 16 and 12 teeth each. Thanks.

Sounds like the correct follower leg you would need is the # LG-179014 that you referenced. The overall length of the leg is 33-1/2 inches and the distance from the inside of the two brackets is 17-1/2 inches.

Check out the picture I attached for more info, I know you listed a slightly different dimension for the brackets. But without knowing exactly where you were measuring from I figured it would be easier for you to check out the picture I attached and compare that to your landing gear.
