Question:
Hello, I was wondering what is the difference between the q50 sport and non sport trailer hitches?

When it comes to installing a trailer hitch on your 2016 Infiniti Q50 the main difference between the sport model and non sport model is how the trailer mounts underneath the vehicle.
The Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4 inch # 24931 works on both sport and non sport models because of how the hitch was made, and how it bolts up to the frame of your vehicle.
The trailer hitch has a concealed cross tube which will give your vehicle a sleeker look like if the dealership installed the hitch for you. The hitch bolts right up with the included hardware package, and has a black powder coat finish that covers an e-coat base for superior rust protection.
The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56248 will give you a 4-flat connector that will make it to where your trailer stop, turn, and brake lights will mirror your vehicle's stop, turn, and brake lights. This custom harness plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located in your rear cargo area on both the driver's side and the passenger's side. Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery.
I attached a couple installation video links below.
