Parts Needed to Flat Tow a 2022 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon
Question:
Thanks for the quick reply, being that the Jeep 392 GVWR is 6,100 lbs I would prefer the additional weight rating of the 10K lbs tow bar, can you suggest that PN# please? Will it work with the base plate you listed?

In order to flat tow your 2022 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon you will need at least 5 main parts. Those parts being a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, tow bar wiring and a supplemental braking system. I have listed all of those parts below as well as a recommendation and brief description of their purpose.
Base Plate Kit: The Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit # DM9519336 that you want to use for your Jeep is going to provide the attachment point for the tow bar on your Jeep.
Tow Bar: Since you want to use the Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit # DM9519336, you can then use the Demco Commander II Non-Binding Tow Bar # DM9511012 which is compatible with that base plate kit and will be what attaches to both the motorhome and the base plate kit on your Jeep. This tow bar also includes the safety cables, so you will not need to get them separately.
Tow Bar Wiring: This allows you to use your Jeep's tail lights and wiring system while preventing feedback from your RV. I recommend the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 which is made in the USA and has a limited lifetime warranty.
Supplemental Braking System: This is what will allow you to safely travel with and stop your Jeep while being flat towed. I recommend the Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # DM86VR. This will provide you with a proportional braking system that never has to be removed, replaced, or reset. You will also need the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751490 for the braking system to function properly.
You may also need a high low adapter to keep your tow set-up level. I have included a help article that goes over how to determine this. I have also linked our selection of high low adapters so you can select the correct one it it is determined that one is needed.
You will also want to consult the owners manual of your Jeep to ensure you are doing everything that is required/recommended for flat towing your Jeep.
