Best Parts Needed to Convert Triple Axle Surge Disc Trailer to Electric Over Hydraulic

I have a triple axle boat trailer with surge brakes on all 3 axles. I am considering switching over to electric over hydraulic. Do I only need the actuator or will I need other parts for the conversion as well? Thank you!

All you need is an electric over hydraulic actuator in place of the surge actuator and you'd be set. The brake lines and brake assemblies are all the same and are just responding to hydraulic pressure. For a kit that comes with everything you'd need you'd want the # HS381-9067. This comes with what most consider to be the best actuator that responds the quickest and also is the most reliable and also comes with all of the other electrical components you'd need like the breakaway battery, 7-way harness etc.

The HydraStar Vented Marine Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for Disc Brakes part #HS481-8067 has the factory brake controller adapter included so it will work with any integrated factory trailer brake controller like a 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
