Brake Controller and 7-Way Trailer Connector on 2013 Volvo XC60

I have a 2013 volvo xc60 T6 AWD. Can you recommend a 7pin and a brake controller for this vehicle. Thanks

The install procedure and parts needed will depend on the type of brake controller you're wanting to install.
If you're wanting to install a wireless brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy RF, part # TK94FR you'll need to begin with a functional 4 pole trailer connector. If you don't already have one, you can install one using part # 118739. To provide a 7-way, you'll need the # ETBC7L install kit. The kit includes a 4 pole to 7-way adapter that converts the 4 pole to a 7-way, as well as all the wiring, hardware and circuit breakers needed for a successful installation.
If you're wanting to use a more traditional non-wireless brake controller, I'd recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty, part # RED24FR. The Tow-Pro Liberty is a remote mount controller. The control box mounts under the dash where it's unseen and out of the way. The controller is adjusted using the control knob which can be installed anywhere within easy reach of the driver. An unused switch knockout makes the perfect mounting location. You'll also need the # RED69FR pigtail. As mentioned above, if the vehicle doesn't already have a 4-pole connector, you'll need to install one using the # 118739. To install the controller, you'll use a different installation kit, part # ETBC7 which includes everything provided with the kit mentioned above as well as the additional wiring needed to install the controller under the dash.
