Installing a Voyager WiSight 2.0 Camera in Prewired 2019 Lance 855 Truck Camper
Question:
I purchased a Voyager WiSight 2.0 from etrailer last fall. I went to change it out and Found that I don’t have the WiSight pre wired plug in. My Tuuck Camper is a 2019 Lance 855s and is prewired but only with 1.0 wire plug in. There is a on off switch inside the rear door on the lower right below the slide out for the power to the rear camera. My question: can I just wire the red and black wires on the 2.0 to the existing wire or get a connector to wire to attach to my existing wire connection. Thank You

You are just fine; it will work with the prewiring in your 2019 Lance 855. While correct that a 2.0 will not work with a 1.0 system this is making reference to intermixing the cameras and monitors. The prewire plate on the back of the trailer is neither 1.0 or 2.0 - it's just power and ground. So, your Voyager WiSight 2.0 Wireless Backup Camera System, # ASA24YR while work fine with the prewiring in your 2019 Lance 855.
