Can Cushioned Pin Box be Used with Andersen Ultimate Adapter
Question:
I currently have a Lippert 1716 with a 16k 5th wheel hitch I looking to reduce the weight of the hitch by using a ball instead as I'm getting older and the hitch is getting heavier The ultimate is the same height as a 5th wheel hitch so I can see it out the back window VRs a bed mounted ball when Hitching up yes I would prefer a cushioned pin box if possible but It appears I will have to take another look at my options Thanks for your reply

The Reese Goose Box is designed to attach to a gooseneck ball which is much lower than the height of a fifth wheel hitch so it would not work. Are you basically just looking for a cushioned pin box you could use with the Ultimate? What pin box does your trailer have?
