We can get your 2004 Honda Pilot set up to be flat towed, and there are a number of parts needed, which I'll go ahead and list out for you below:

- Base Plate Kit: Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX2227

- Tow Bar: etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Blue Ox Base Plates # e47ZR

- Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267

- Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400

- Supplemental Braking System: Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251

The Blue Ox base plates have removable tabs so your Pilot will maintain its look when you aren't flat towing. The etrailer tow bar is nice because it is a great value that comes with safety cables so you don't have to purchase them separately, as well as a tilting head so you won't need a high-low adapter to stay level.

The Roadmaster wiring kit is designed to prevent any type of electrical feedback to keep your Pilot's electrical system safe, and the brake light relay is needed to ensure the turn signals don't get overridden by the brake signals when using a supplemental braking system. The Stay-IN-Play DUO system is really nice because it gives you braking proportional to that of your motorhome, resulting in much smoother braking then other systems.
