I just purchase from your store - Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional Item # 90195 - i have a 2011 chevy colorado - there are four wires under the dash for the brake controller to wire to - red , black , white and green - can you tell me what colors wire to the red , black, white and blue wires that come on the brake controller. thanks in advance

I would be happy to help you get your Tekonsha Prodigy P3 item # 90195 installed in your 2011 Chevy Colorado. I linked a video below that shows the brake controller being installed on a 2015 Colorado so you can follow along with the process.

Here are the wires functions on your truck and where they will connect on the P3 brake controller:

Red with Green Wire = 12v power will go to the Black Wire on the Brake Controller. This will likely be a larger gauge wire.

Black Wire = Ground Wire will go to the White Wire on the Brake Controller

White with Blue Stripe Wire = Brake Signal will go to the Red Wire on the Brake Controller

Blue Wire = Brake Controller Output Signal will go to the Blue Wire on the Brake Controller
