How do I add brakes to a boat trailer that currently doesnt have them?

Adding brakes to a trailer that doesn't have them is a mostly straightforward process. The first step is determining what axles your trailer has on it and if there are brake flanges. Once you do that you'll need your wheel bolt pattern and then with that all of the parts can pretty easily be picked out. If you have 3,500 lb axles the brake kit part # AKEBRK-35-SA would be correct. I attached a help article that will guide you through the process or you can get me the info I mentioned and I can help piece it all together.
