Clearance from Underside of Reese 5th Wheel Adapter to Truck Bed
Question:
I am in need of a adapter such as the RP30154. For a Ram 2500 - 2022 year model. Id like to know the amount of clearance between the bottom of the adapter and the bed of the truck when installed? Despite the numerous pictures on your web site there is noting that gives me clarification.

The reason you don't see clearance listed is because it will depend on the bed of the truck as well as the liner. As Reese states in the instructions for the Reese 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Ram OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 25,000 lbs # RP30154, each truck is different.
I would expect the adapter to sit flush or have very minimal clearance once properly installed in the pucks and adjusted. The use of this adapter will add 2" to the height of your 5th wheel hitch and allow you to use a 5th wheel hitch designed to fit industry standard rails.
