What Parts do I Need to Mount the SnowBear Plow # SB324-080 to My 2022 Jeep Wrangler?

Question:

I would like to purchase the Snowbear SB324-080 for use on my 2022 Wrangler Sport 2door. On the video 2inch receiver hitch C31086 is used and it is noted that top of receiver hitch is at 17. On the description of SB324-080 it says bottom of the receiver hitch needs to be at 13. Is this the right combination for my 2022 Wrangler? Will this put the plow mount at the proper height? Measurement of receiver opening from top to bottom is 3, right? So one cant be 13 and the other 17....

I have an answer for you to connect the Snowbear # SB324-080 to your 2022 Jeep Wrangler. In the video you are referring to for the Curt Front Hitch - 2" # C31086, that shows the installation of the hitch on a 2018 Wrangler. While we do not have the ground clearance height of the hitch installed on a 2022 model, it most likely differs within a couple inches. Also, since the receiver tube measures 2 inches from inside the top tube to the inside of the bottom tube, the ground clearance is actually 16 inches.

With that being said, you are absolutely right that the # SB324-080 needs to be 13" from the ground (17 inches at the very maximum). I talked with my tech at Snowbear and a way to solve this problem is by purchasing the Drop Extension Kit for SnowBear Snowplows - Bolt On - 3" Drop # SB324-128. With this kit, you will most likely be within the required parameters of the plow.

The best way to proceed is to install the # C31086 first. Once you determine the exact height of the bottom of the receiver tube from the ground on your 2022 Wrangler, you can then know 100% if the # SB324-128 provides you with the required 13-17 inches required to use the plow.
