what is best setup for 2012 toyota tacoma 4dr with tow package towing a kz sportsman clasic 160rbt. do i need sway control or weight distribution or both. the kz has hitch weight 336lbs dry weight 2696lbs and gvwr 3500lbs. Tacoma has timbrens and brake controller with a curb weight 4220lbs, gross weight 5500lbs. Safty is the goal

The best weight distribution and sway control for your 2012 Toyota Tacoma towing a KZ Sportsman Classic 160RBT would be the Strait Line part # RP66083 which has a tongue weight range of 400-800 lbs and features the best sway control for fighting sway before it starts. If safety is the goal this is by far your best option.

Any time the weight of the trailer is over half of the weight of the tow vehicle a weight distribution system is strongly recommended so for you it would be a really great option.
