Can Yakima Landing Pad 1 Fit Rhino Rack RTC Tracks without Removing Endcaps

I see the Yakima landing pads Y00221 will work on these tracks. Do you have to remove the endcaps to put the Yakima landing pad T-nuts into the track channel or is the cutout at the end of the track large enough to the t-nut in, place it in the correct orientation, and slide it up the channel?

The T-nuts of the Yakima Landing Pad 1 part # Y00221 are big enough to fit into the opening of the Rhino Rack RTC Tracks # RTC14 without requiring you to remove the end caps.

No you can not use the long ends to mount the platform. The platform #RR82TB can only be mounted to the legs using the underside crossbars. There is no other spot on the platform that can accept legs.
