Replacement Hub Drum and Brake Parts for 8K Dexter Axles
Question:
I have a 45 foot United gooseneck car hauler with triple Dexter axles. They appear to be 8,000 pound axles. Id like to replace the hubs and bearings and the entire electric brake mechanism on all three axles. They are Dexter P-12 SLR axles. the serial number on one of them is D7630509. Can you tell me what hubs, bearings and full brake kits I need. Thank you.

Expert Reply:
For 8K Dexter Axles you need the Electric Brake Kit # 23-434-435 (1 for each axle) and then 2 of the Hub and Drum Assembly # 8-285-11 for each axle. If you need to replace any wiring then that would be part # 10-1-1, sold by the foot, and heat shrink butt connectors # DW05745-10.
Let me know if there is anything else in your setup that you're needing!
