Replacement 2,200-lb Axle Kit For A Small Utility Trailer
Question:
have a customer with a small utility trailer, we need to find him an axle kit. hubs, bearings, seals, springs and weldable spring perches spring center to center 61 hub face 72 approx. 2200lb capacity no brakes 5 on 4.5 hubs. thanks

For your trailer, I recommend the Dexter Trailer Idler Axle w/ Hubs # 20545I-EZ-72-10.
This axle has a maximum weight capacity of 2,200-lbs, measures 72" from hub face to hub face, and 58" from spring center to spring center. This will fits wheel 8"-12" wheels, and includes pre-greased idler hubs, with bearings, races, and seals.
However, the spring center to center are a little off and you will need to weld on new hangers.
