I have a 2021 dodge ram 3500 dually crew cab with a 8 ft bed with oem hitch..It is a diesel also, after market side steps installed and are cab length only. Im confused on which model no. I need the D2140 or D2142. Any advice would be appreciated...thanks

The TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs for the front, # TLD2142 is for an 8' bed with board or step extending under bed. While the # TLD2140 is for an 8' bed either equipped with the factory electric boards or no boards at all and OEM hitch. This may or may not fit with your aftermarket installed boards, it can't be confirmed to fit without knowing how they were installed. The OEM installed boards are known so, that fit can be confirmed.

My recommendation for your 2021 Ram 3500 8 Foot Bed - with fixed board or step under cab and with a factory installed hitch, I recommend the TorkLift Talon Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs - Aluminum # TL94FR front and # TL34FR for the rear. These rustproof and lightweight aluminum alloy tie-down inserts secure to durable stainless steel receiver brackets. The tie-down inserts can be easily removed from frame-mounted receiver brackets with included pins.

As for turnbuckles there is a wide selection at varying price points that will work. The primary difference being features and ease/time to install.
