Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars for Honda 2015 CRV appear wider than needed. Are people trimming these for a better fitting appearance ? If so, what is the recommended way to trim? Thanks

People are not trimming the Rhino-Rack crossbars, nor is that a good idea as it would compromise their structural integrity (not to mention look pretty awful). If you don't like the length of the standard crossbars on your 2015 Honda CR-V, what you can do is get a Rhino-Rack roof rack that uses crossbars that are simply the width of your roof and won't extend past the vehicle whatsoever.

The correct one will depend on if your '15 CR-V has flush-mount rails that run front to back or a bare roof without rails:

- Flush-Mount Rails: Rhino-Rack RVP Roof Rack # RRRVP33

- Bare Roof: Rhino-Rack ROC25 Roof Rack # RR45GR
