Hello, I would like to install a roof rack system for kayaks on my 2012 F-150. It has a camper shell. I would like to install a system like the rhino rack 2500 on the cab and a system that probably uses fake gutters on the cap. I can find either system but I only need half of each. 1 bar for the cab system and 1 for the cap system. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you,

I can help you find a rack that will work for your 2012 Ford F-150 Super Cab. Unfortunately, it will not be the Rhino Rack 2500, part # RR29YR. That rack is not compatible with your vehicle. This rack will have to be pieced together, a la carte. This rack will consist of the following items:

Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbar - Aluminum - Black - 59" Long, part # RRVA150B-2
Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars - Naked Roofs or Fixed Mounting Points - Qty 2, part # RRRLKVAH
Custom DK Fit Kit for 2 Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Roof Rack Legs - Naked Roof, part # DK150H

One of these crossbars will be used with the Rhino-Rack gutter mount roof legs. You will need to decide where you want the crossbar placed on the roof of your vehicle. It can only be placed in one of two places. I have included the installation instructions that show the measurements and where the crossbars are to be placed below.

Once you have the first crossbar in place, you will need the artificial rain gutters. My recommendation is the Rhino-Rack Artificial Rain Gutters - Qty 2, part # 739AHALF. These rain gutters will have to be drilled into your Lakeland Voyager SZ. You will have to check your owner's manual for compatibility.

The last part you will need are the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack Legs - Gutter Mount - 4-5/16" Tall - Qty 4, part # RRRL110S5-2.

You will have more flexibility with crossbar placement on your cap. I have included product description links and video review links below.

I spoke with my contact at Rhino Rack and they informed me that the dimensions you are looking for are: Outside plate is 1-1/2” tall. Inside plate dimensions are 1-1/2”x7”.

Yes, the artificial rain gutters part #739AHALF will fit on a 2014 Jeep Wrangler. These are a universal fit design so they would work well on your hardtop.
