Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13409 is a confirmed fit for your 2022 Subaru Forester Wilderness. It is a custom fit for your Forester's frame with a simple bolt-on installation and no welding required.
If you plan on towing a small trailer then I recommend also installing the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118467 to transfer your turning and braking signals from your vehicle to the trailer.
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located in your rear cargo area, either behind the driver's-side trim panel or in the spare tire compartment. You will need to remove some interior paneling to access this harness. Once you've plugged in the connector, insert the provided fuse into the in-line fuse holder.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed in your rear cargo area or mounted to the crossmember of the trailer hitch with parts # 18144 and # 18140.
