Dual Hitch Adapter for Lowering Bike Rack on a 2020 Chevrolet Traverse
Question:
I have a 2020 Traverse. I have a Hollywood rack for two ebikes. However I only carry one bike 60 pounds. The bike rides quite high and is difficult to load/unload. I’d like to lower the rack using a up side down Monroe 2 inch dual hitch receiver. Any problem? Thanks.

The Malone 2" Dual Purpose Hitch Receiver item # MPG544 can be inverted. This will lower your bike rack 7-1/2" from where it currently sits now. The Malone Hitch Receiver does reduce your 2020 Chevy Traverse's towing and tongue weight capacity by 50%. You will want to ensure that the combined weight of your bike and rack do not exceed this.
