5th Wheel Installation Kit and Slider Base for a 2001 Ford F-250
Question:
Is there two Reese 30047 5th wheels in the 29 inch width and 20 5/8 width? if so, can both products use the 30048 slider? Also what rails and quick install brackets are required for either 5th wheel application? Please confirm this so I can make a decision to purchase the required parts soon. Thanks a bunch.

You could use slider # RP30048 because you can adjust the width out further to accommodate the old style head and support crossmember. The handle that spans the distance between the uprights on the slider has multiple holes so you can set the width accordingly.
For an installation kit I recommend the Reese custom kit # RP50082-58. It will fit short or long beds and will accept the wider or narrower stances. I have linked a video showing a typical installation of this kit and a link to the instructions.
