To flat tow your 2014 Jeep Wrangler you will need a base plate kit, tow bar (which you have already), tow bar wiring, safety chains (which you may have already with your tow bar) and a supplemental braking system. Roadmaster makes the Sterling tow bar, so I am going to base my recommendations around your tow bar and that you have a factory bumper. If you do not have a factory bumper your base plate kit could be different, so just let me know if you do not have a factory bumper and I can send you the correct recommendation for a base plate kit.

Base Plate Kit: Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-521448-5. This is what will go on your Wrangler and is compatible with your Sterling tow bar.

Tow Bar Wiring: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267, this will allow you to to use your Jeep Wrangler's tail lights and wiring system while preventing feedback from your RV. Your Wrangler also requires that the battery be disconnected and for that you can use the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch # RM-766 which will allow you to easily disconnect your battery so that your vehicle can be towed behind your RV.

Safety Chains: If you do not already have safety chains you can use the Roadmaster 80" Hybrid Coiled-to-Straight Safety Cables # RM-674.

Supplemental Braking System: Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251. This will give you an automatic, proportional braking system that never has to be removed, replaced, or reset.

You could also need a high-low adapter. I have included a help article that goes over how to determine if an adapter is needed and which adapter is the correct one if one is needed. I have linked our selection of high-low adapters so you can select the correct one if it is determined that you need one.

You will also want to consult the owners manual for your 2014 Jeep Wrangler to ensure you are doing everything that is required/recommended from the manufacturer for flat towing your Wrangler.
