The main difference between the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C13264 and the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver item # e98905 is the matte black powder coat finish of the etrailer hitch versus the traditional glossy finish of the Curt hitch. Other than that these hitches are identical. Both are custom fit and bolt directly to your 2022 Toyota Tacoma's frame with included hardware. I recommend the etrailer # e98905 hitch because the matte finish will hide dirt and paint chips better. I have linked an installation video.
Don't forget the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" Ball, a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop, and is rated for up to 7,500 lbs. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
I recommend you check your Tacoma's owner's manual for towing capacity. Always remember that the lowest capacity component is what you want to go off of when using a hitch receiver.
