Will The Curt C95CR Hitch fit A 2022 Acura RDX Advance With 19" Wheels?

Question:

Lazer S Provided the following: The American made Curt Class III Hitch Receiver # C95CR is a confirmed fit for all models of the 2022 Acura RDX, including the Advance package. With that said, 19inch wheels cannot be stored under the vehicle as the hitch will sit inside of the frame and will take up too much room for it to fit properly. As to the kick sensor, I have never seen one ever be completely negated. You will need to find the sweet spot on either side of the receiver as it will sit in the same place as the sensor. The Draw-Tite # 76268 has not yet been confirmed for the 2022 models yet, but it had the same fitment notes, unfortunately. I dont want to be difficult - just trying to clarify before ordering... The RDX Advance has 19inch wheels but the spare is a T155/90 D17inch with a Dia of 28.3 Would like to confirm whether this will fit OK Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:

The Curt # C95CR, which will fit your RDX, can handle wheels up to 18" in diameter, but not over that. So yes, your spare will be fine as it is a 17" wheel. However, as the regular wheel on your 2022 Acura RDX with the Advance package is 19" and came with 235/55 R19 Continental CrossContact LX Sport tires, which measure 29.2" in diameter, it will need to be stored in the cargo area if you ever have to run the spare tire.
