The max towing capacity of your 2004 Trailblazer will depend on whether it's a 2WD or 4WD and upon the rear axle gear ratio. According to the owner's manual, the capacity ranges from 4800 lbs for a 4WD EXT with the 6cyl engine with the 3.42 rear end up to 6800 lbs for the 2WD EXT with the 3.73 rear axle.
Since the 3700 lb GVWR is well below the minimum 4800 lb towing capacity of the Trailblazer, theoretically you could tow the 2017 Jayco 17RB Hummingbird you speak of, assuming the vehicle is in good working order.
Unless you're planning on towing on perfectly flat terrain, I'd urge you to equip your Trailblazer with an aftermarket transmission cooler. A transmission cooler will provide inexpensive protection for your transmission, lowering the transmission fluid by even a small amount will dramatically increase its life expectancy.
I'd recommend the Derale # D13503 cooler, along with the needed # D13035 fitting. The cooler will install inline on the return line from the radiator to the transmission as shown in the linked video.
I've also linked to some help articles that explain how transmission coolers work.
To wire the vehicle, the Curt # C55774 7-way/4 pole connector would work fine, assuming you have the factory tow package. You'll also want to install a brake controller. The Tekonsha Primus, part # TK90160 is a reasonably priced option that would work great for you. The controller would wire into the existing tow package harness under the dash (again, assuming the vehicle's equipped with the tow package) as shown in the linked video.

Hey Mike, I have a 2004 Trail Blaser LS 4wd and I have been pulling a 5000lb travel trailer, And Im scared that might be to much. I've only pull about 15 miles each time out over some pretty large hills , I've made that small trip 25 times in last 3 years, transmission fluid looks like it has gotten pretty warm, local Transmission shops tell me I'm going to eventually lose 3rd gear. I love my trailblazer and it's low milage 85k , should I take the shops advice and get a smaller camper or bigger vehicle? or would a tranny cooler be a option.thanks
