Recommended Tongue Weight Scale For A Small And Light Trailer
Question:
I have a small TT at about 3300 lbs gross weight. Would like to have a gauge that went up to 1000 lbs. By having a gauge with smaller increments you could be more accurate when reading your actual tongue weight. Being the trailer is so light, a small mistake on reading the scale would make a big difference when towing it on the highway. Do you or do you have plans for making this for people with small trailers that won’t ever need the 2000 lb scale?

Though I may have another option for you, I did speak to our product development team and, unfortunately, they do not have any plans for producing the etrailer Tongue Weight Scale # e99044 with a lower capacity. At this time anyway. This may change in the future, but the demand for a scale that only goes to 1,000 pounds isn't as high as you would think.
