Troubleshooting 7-Way Wiring Installation on 2017 Acura MDX
Question:
2017 MDX. After installed, use tester to test, BK and 12V not working. I assume BK will need braker controller. But what about 12v port? This shoud be used to charge trailer battery. Is my MDX does not support or I did something wrong?

The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector # 118289 is confirmed to fit your 2017 Acura MDX. This fits all models so it is not a matter of your vehicle not being supported. You are correct, you won't get anything on the blue wire for the brakes without a brake controller like the # RED44FR.
The black 12V power should be working if properly installed. Since you already have a tester, try testing the wire behind the end of the connector. It is possible the wire wasn't fully inserted into the connector or is loose after completing the installation. If that is not the case, double check the fuse installation.
The two 20 Amp fuses install in positions 2 and 9. The two 7.5 Amp fuses install in positions 10 and 11.
