Can the Yakima BackSwing Swing Away Hitch Extender # Y02483 legally be used on the Dodge Promaster for an ebike rack?

I have not heard of there any issues with legality and the use of the Yakima BackSwing Swing Away Hitch Extender # Y02483 on any vehicle. I can, however, say that this will work perfectly on a Dodge ProMaster as I have had a few people ask me about the # Y02483 for use on a ProMaster and they were very happy with it. It should be noted that the weight of your bike rack and e-bikes cannot exceed 250 pounds though.
If this does not quell your concerns though, you can also contact a local DMV or Department of Transportation as they will have specific laws and regulations in your area.
