Bauer Camper Door Lock # BA65FR Compatibility With A 2002 Casita Spirit Deluxe Camper
Question:
The information you provide on the BAUER BA 65FR is for a Slam Latch. I own a 2002 Casita Spirit Deluxe camper with a REDLINE Linch handle style #276. I believe the Redline is also a Slam Latch door lock and I would have to cut out the 3/8inch fiberglass door 5 1/4inch W x 4 1/2inch T so the Bauer Lock to fit and also shim/build out the thickness of the door to 1 1/4. Is what I am emailing you sound correct? Thanks for reviewing my question!

As long as you increase the thickness of the door up to 1-1/4" and the cutout hole is 5-1/4" wide x 4-1/2" tall you'll be able to use the Bauer Products Camper Door Lock - Black # BA65FR on your 2002 Casita Spirit Deluxe Camper. The increased thickness might not be pretty depending on the material used but it's very common practice.
