Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the PowerGrip Generator Adapter. This is a 125-volt adaptor cord that's going to convert your RV's 30 amp power plug to work with a 30 amp Twist Lock outlet on a generator. Our female end here is going to connect to our RV's 30 amp, so we'll just plug our typical power plug into that side there. The built-in handle is going to make it much easier to disconnect those once they're connected, and we're ready to move on, you can easily pull that out with the grip here.
We can slide at least three fingers into. Gives us a nice grip.The other end, our male end, is going to plug into that 30 amp Twist Lock. You can see how these have extra little barbs on them. That is going to allow it to twist in place in the generator receptacle, so it won't vibrate out as the generator is running and vibrating. These three prongs are going to fit the L5-30 locking plug receptacle, so a very easy way of converting to make sure that your RV is going to be able to plug into your generator so you can run some of your bigger appliances and those sort of things.You can see our yellow connectors are very easy to see, even in low light conditions.

Built-in handle makes removal easy.I use this with a 30amp cable going to Lance 2375 camper. The female end is from camper 30amp power cord the small cord plugs into a Honda EU 3000is generator which is a three prong, this little extension made all the difference. The Honda powers the entire rig including a 13500btu AC. This little cord doesn't even get warm, great to have, great product.

Just received the adapter and haven't had a chance to use it yet. But I've wanted one of these for a long time now as the 50 amp plug sticks straight out from the receptacle. Always thought this was a dumb design as it puts a lot of stress on the plug and cord. The prices are starting to look more attractive so I decided to bite the bullet and get one.
Works just as it should. Now I can use my 30 amp extension cord with my 5th wheel when I am at a campsite or storage that does not have 50 amp connections. The adapter arrived just a promised and the customer service was outstanding. I will order from etrailer again.
This plug is in use now, and working exactly as it should. It is a shoreline for our Class B RV, plugged into a home circuit. Delivery came as promised, on the day promised, decently packaged without a lot of waste. I'd give it 5 stars, but this has been used a few days only. Our last one was over 30 yrs old when it died.
This extension has been a game saver on a couple occasions. There have been a couple of parks where the extension has come in handy. Well made lives up to its expectations. A must have.
