This basket can be attached to your vehicle two ways. You can attach it directly to the rails of your vehicle or you can install it to a roof rack. Installing the basket directly to your roof rails would be the least expensive of the two options, but installing it to a roof rack would offer you the most versatility. I will include both options for you.

In order to connect this basket directly to the raised rails of your vehicle, all you will need are Clamp-On Adapters for Surco Safari Rack 5.0 Rooftop Cargo Basket, part # SP1101. These clamps attach to your raised rails and the basket attaches to the clamps.
