Expert Reply:
The Yakima HoldUp Bike Rack For 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount. part # Y02443-2, does have an extension. Unfortunately, the extension is for two bikes. I do have an alternative. You can put this combination together and get a three bike carrier.
RockyMounts MonoRail Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount,. part # RKY10004
1 Bike Add-On for RockyMounts MonoRail Solo and MonoRail for 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount, part # RKY10005
Once these two items are assembled you will have a 2" three bike platform hitch bike rack. This rack comes with an anti-rattle hitch pin that eliminates movement between the bike rack and the hitch receiver. The hitch lock will secure the rack to your vehicle. It has cable locks to secure the bikes to your rack and a tilt-down mast that can be used when your are carrying bikes or when the rack is empty, so you will always have access to the rear of your vehicle.
