When using the 65063 does it extend to the front edge of the bumper or is it recessed?

The Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 65063 which is a fit for a 2018 Ram 3500 extends out from the front bumper by a few inches to allow for better clearance of hitch mounted accessories. The same thing goes for the EcoHitch Hidden Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 306-X7900.
