What's the difference between the Curt and etrailer 2 inch hitches for my 2022 CR-V? I need a hitch for a bike rack but I don't know which one I should use?

Great question! As far as construction goes the Curt # C13397 and etrailer # e98848 hitches are going to be the same for your 2022 Honda CR-V. The real difference is that the Curt uses the classic glossy finish while the etrailer hitch has a matte black finish.

I prefer the matte black finish because it blends in better with the trim on your vehicle, and it does a much better job at hiding any scratches or dings that might happen due to road debris than a gloss finish does. I'm attaching a photo and install video of this on a 2021 CR-V for you to check out.

If you don't already have a bike rack the I highly recommend checking out the Yakima StageTwo # Y47VR because it can be used for a variety of bike configurations and the stadium-style, tiered trays make loading up multiple bikes much easier than a lot of other platform racks.
