Replacing Atwood GCH 10A-4E Water Heater in 2005 Winnebago Journey With Tankless System

Question:

I have a 2005 Winnebago Journey motorhome. Currently I have an Atwood GCH 10A-4E water heater. If I replace it with a Furrion FWH 09A-3-C I am concern with the alignment of the exhaust port with the existing vent in the motorhome compartment door. Do you have any experience with that situation. Photos attached Thank you

I understand your concerns but do not have experience with that model, we carry the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater, # FR93FR that is a 60,000 BTU unit with measurements of 19-3/16" deep x 12-5/8" tall x 12-13/16" wide. Please compare these measurements to those of your 2005 Winnebago Journey Motorhome.

You may also want to consider the new Ventless Excel RV Tankless On-Demand Water Heater, # EX93FR. This has overall dimensions of 11-5/8" wide x 14-5/8" tall x 4-1/2" deep. While a lower rated BTU it may be an easier-/ retrofit for a tankless option.
