Is Adapter Needed to Install Dometic Water Heater # DMC74FR In Place of Atwood

Question:

I have a Dometic 96160 gas/electric 6 gallon water heater with black door and need a replacement. It appears Dometic does not make that unit anymore and this is the replacement. On the Dometic website they show that you will need adapter mounting brackets model 94067 as well as a new adapter door kit 94010. I assume the door kit comes with filler pieces to cover the difference in opening in wall. Do I need special mounting brackets rails to mount this as shown on their site?

To install the Dometic water heater part # DMC74FR in place of your current Dometic setup what you need is the adapter part # DMC24FR and you'd be set.
