How to Choose Correct Replacement Axle For Trailer
Question:
Where can I get this UGT axle you show a guy replacing on a trailer? I have an old trailer with 2 mobile home axles with electric brakes on it and 1 axle rusted and broke.

I believe the video you are referring to is quite old and just an example on how to replace an axle; we don't offer a UGT axle, and you should also never use a mobile home axle on a trailer. The reason for that is mobile home axles are one-time uses designed to get a mobile home from Point A to Point B and that's it. I can tell you what you need to know in order to get a replacement axle though.
First, you will need to know the dimensions of your current axle's hub face to hub face and spring center to spring center; the other thing you need to know is the weight capacity of the axle you need, which should match or exceed the GVWR of your trailer.
For example the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam # T3584F-8974 has a 3,500 lb capacity and measures 89 inches from hub face to hub face and 74 inches from spring center to spring center.
I've added a link to our selection of axles for you to check out, or if you get back to me with that information I'd be happy to try and find something that will work for you.
