Question:

Hello, I am planning to build a tear trailer and need some help with purchasing an axle. The trailer is 54 x 144 2 x 3 frame and will weigh around 2000 lbs. I want to use Jeep wheels and tires 5x5 bolt pattern 32 size tire 16 from ground to center. What are my options? I am thinking torsion axle, but axle-less is also an option. Thanks for your help.

Yes, you are correct the axle-less Timbren's are a great option. I recommend the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System item # ASR1THDS03. These have a capacity of 2,200 lbs and are made specifically for off-road tires. The 4" Lift will provide greater ground clearance for your Jeep wheels. You will also need the etrailer Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 3,500-lb Axles item # AKIHUB-550-35-K. These come pre-greased and have a 5 on 5 Inch bolt pattern. I have linked review videos for both of these parts.
