Troubleshooting Blue and Black Wire Switched on 2011 Nissan Frontier
Question:
Blue black wire reversed on the truck side or on the kit that I purchased? My electric brake has continuous power.

The blue electric brake wire and black 12 volt power wire mix up is on the vehicle side of your 2011 Nissan Frontier. The factory tow package connector on a few of the Nissan Xterras, Frontiers and Pathfinders from 2005 to 2012 had this issue, although it is uncommon.
In order to fix the issue, I recommend cutting the two wires on the Tow Ready Wiring Harness # 118267 a few inches back from the black connector. Once this is done, switch the wires (black to blue and blue to black) and butt connect them back together. Make sure you keep it fairly close to the black connector so the wire gauge difference will be less of a concern.
I have attached a picture showing what it will look like once you switch the wires for your reference.
