How To Identify The Correct Replacement Spring Bar For An Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System
Question:
Not sure how it happened but we just got back from vacation and went to unhook my trailer and noticed one of my spring bars was missing. I need to make sure I order the correct one. If you can give me the part number of the correct one that would be great or you can call and I can place order over the phone or by email on line.. Thanks The dimensions are 1 1/2 X 1 X 1/2 X 35 1/2

Finding the correct replacement spring bar for your Equal-i-zer weight distribution system will depend on the weight rating, not so much the size of the bar. With that being said, there should be a label on the existing bar with a weight capacity on it. If this is gone though, it definitely complicates things.
The Replacement Spring Bar for Equal-i-zer # EQ90-02-1299 does match your measurements perfectly, but if your other bar is a different weight capacity, I'm not sure exactly sure what will happen, but the system definitely will not work properly. This bar replaces that of a system that handles 800 to 1,200 pounds of tongue weight, like the # EQ37120ET, so if you are unsure of what it was originally and your tongue weight fall between these weights, I recommend replacing both bars, just to be safe. If you can confirm this weight capacity on the existing bar though, just the one will be needed.
