What Hitch and Wiring Harness Will Fit 2013 Ford Focus Towing a Trailer With 2 Motorcycles
Question:
I was wondering if the hitch for this car can tow a single axle trailer carrying two Harley Davidson motorcycles. Tongue weight is 65 pounds and the weight of the trailer and motorcycles combined is 1865 pounds. Also, is there a simple wiring harness that does not require running a wire all the way to the battery up front? Also, have they changed the carriage bolts in the kit so that they fit without grinding them like everyone in your reviews has had to do??

Although the Curt # C11158 is a fit for your 2013 Ford Focus, it is not to be used for towing. It can only be used for either a bike rack or cargo carrier.
On page 217 of the 2013 Ford Focus owner's manual Ford cautions to never tow a trailer with this vehicle. Your vehicle is not equipped to tow and no towing packages are available.
We cannot make any recommendations that would contradict what Ford states about the towing capabilities of any vehicle.
