I am going to be using a 2022 Mercedes GLC300 to tow a utility trailer, do I need trailer wiring?

We can get your 2022 Mercedes GLC300 setup to tow a utility trailer. You will need the Vehicle Wiring Harness Kit w/ 4-Pole Trailer Connector and Installation Kit, part # C59236. Once you add this harness kit you will be able to plug a utility trailers 4-way connector to your vehicle's 4-way connector. Then your trailer's lights will mirror your vehicle's stop, turn, and running lights while the trailer is being towed. This wiring harness can work with incandescent bulbs or LEDs.

We have universal trailer wiring harnesses that fit your 2020 Mercedes GLC 300 with the Tekonsha part #119147KIT. This ties into the taillight wiring of your vehicle with included quick splice connectors.

According to our technicians the 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item #118747 will not work with any of the Premium Packages on the 2016 GLC-300. You will need to use the 4-Pole Trailer Connector and Installation Kit item #C59496.
