Question:

I have a Duraflex 3500# single axle boat trailer I need to replace. What info do you need to replace?

In order to find a typical replacement axle we would be looking for the overall length. That is, the hub face to hub face measurement. The axle you looked at has the same 3,500 lb capacity and measures 89" from hub face to hub face. This uses a leaf spring suspension, and from what I have found the Dura-Flex axle you have is some kind of torsion axle. Unfortunately we do not carry any torsion axles to replace your current axle.

We do, however, have one possible solution. The Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System # ASR3500S05 will fit any frame width. This system uses 2 separate units to replace your existing axle. It can be bolted or welded on, and has a weight capacity of 3,500 lbs. You would need to check to see if it would fit your existing hubs. It uses a # L68149 inner and # L44649 outer bearing, # L68111 inner and # L44610 outer race, and # 58846 (10-19) grease seal. There is also an option that comes with hubs # A35RS545 and electric brake hubs # A35RS545E that has a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern.

I have attached a review of the Timbren system for your reference.
