Need A Complete Flat-Tow Set Up For 2019 Chevrolet Equinox
Question:
I need to outfit my 2019 Chevrolet Equinox LS 1.4L with a tow plate Blue Ox. Will it connect to a Blue Ox BX7455 towbar towbar came with RV. I also need a brake system prefer stay in place system for the Equinox and wiring kit for the lights, etc... Does it come with the break away or is it separate? I guess the simplest way to put this is what do I need to be able to flat tow the Equinox? I look forward to your response. Thank you.

I have a solution for you. The Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BX1730 will fit your current BlueOx tow bar. Next you will need aDemco Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System w/ Wireless Coachlink Monitor Proportional # DM86VR to make sure you have brakes, yes this will stay in your tow vehicle as a permanent upgrade.
I suggest getting the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154 to sync your lights to the tow vehicle to keep you safe and legal. Using the Roadmaster 80" Coiled Safety Cables - Double Hook - 10,000 lbs - Qty 2 # RM-653 if you do not already have a pair of safety cables, these are required in most states.
