Timbren Trailer Suspension Enhancement System that Could Fit Tandem Trailer with 3,500 lb Axles

Question:

I have a tandem axle 3500 per axle utility trailer. It bottoms out when loaded with my 2 ATVs 2000 lbs total coming down my inclined driveway and on uneven roads/trails. Either the trailer jack completely up or end of trailer scrapes driveway when loaded. Which Timbren Trailer system would be best for my application to lift the suspension a few inches? Or, is there another solution you would recommend? thanks.

Expert Reply:

For a tandem axle trailer the Timbren suspension kit part # TTRA1702 would be a great option to provide additional suspension support. It can provide up to 1,000 lbs of additional support per axle. Since you have a tandem setup you'd need two of these. This will get rid of suspension sag when your trailer is loaded which would raise it up in a sense, but it is not actually a lift kit.

For an actual lift kit you'd want the part # RR23QX instead.
