Does Equal-I-Zer Shank Work with Fastway E2 Weight Distribution System
Question:
My trailer came with an e2 WD hitch w 1000# bars but no shank. Are Equalizer shanks compatible with e2 brand heads? Also, dry weight of trailer is 4200 probably 5500 loaded?. What about the correct spring bars? Im thinking 600# bars would be correct? I also have a complete Hidden Hitch WD hitch with 750 # bars. What do you think?

Yes the Equal-i-zer weight distribution shanks are compatible with the Fastway e2 weight distribution heads. Thankfully nearly all weight distribution system manufacturers make their heads to fit the same shank dimensions.
I'd say the tongue weight of your trailer when loaded would work great with the Fastway e2 kit part # FA94-00-1000 that you have as this has a TW range of 600-1,000 lbs. When your trailer is loaded it's tongue weight is most likely going to be over 600 lbs which would be great with this system.
For a pretty standard Equal-i-zer shank we have the part # EQ90-02-4200 which can do a drop of up to 4 inches.
