Best Trailer Hitch Receiver, Wiring Harness and Brake Controller For a 2022 Hyundai Palisade

I need a hitch for my new 2022 Hyundai Palisade. What is the best one that I can have installed?

I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e95ZR as being the best receiver available for your 2022 Hyundai Palisade. It has the highest available weight capacity at 750lbs of tongue weight and 5,000lbs towing. With a weight distribution hitch capacity is 750lbs tongue weight and 6,000lbs towing. Be sure to not exceed the capacities for your specific Palisade given by Hyundai. This receiver also uses a matte black finish that I find holds up better and will also have a more stock appearance as it blends in better with undercoating and other parts mounted to your chassis.

For a 4-way flat connector for light trailer towing and using Auxiliary Lights # C53201, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # CU94FR. This will plug into the factory wiring connector already on your Palisade making installation virtually plug and play. A Curt Easy Mount Bracket # C58001 will give you a secure mount for the 4-way connector that is close to your receiver. And best of all there is no drilling to attach this mount to your Palisade.

If you have a larger trailer with braking axles you will need a Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7 to go along with the Curt 4-way. And a Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 to control the trailer brakes on your trailer.
